Designed for those who live with recurring discomfort or need to apply cryotherapy regularly to their hand and wrist. MINGYO combines traditional cold treatment with light compression around the entire circumference of the joint, allowing you to receive therapy evenly while maintaining your independence and continuing your daily activities without having to pause your routine for 20 minutes.

Traditional ice or gel packs have two fundamental problems: they only apply cold to one side of the injury, and putting them on is a hassle. Furthermore, it is hard to find a cloth or fabric with the right thickness to transmit enough cold without freezing your skin; they keep moving or slipping, and they force you to stay in the same spot while the application lasts.

With MINGYO, you don't need cloths, makeshift solutions, or to be glued to the sofa, and it also features these improvements:

Fabric with the exact thickness and thermal balance: We didn't just use any thread. The fabric is developed with the precise thickness and made of polypropylene, the technical fiber with the lowest thermal conductivity. This allows for a constant and pleasant temperature transfer from the very first contact, avoiding the harshness of direct ice while still letting the full potential of the cold pass through.

Gradual cold transmission: The cold doesn't hit all at once; instead, it is transmitted progressively, allowing nerve endings to adapt and making the session very comfortable from start to finish.

360° perimeter coverage + light compression: Unlike a flat pack resting on top, MINGYO hugs the entire contour of the wrist and hand. It distributes cold evenly around the entire joint and adds homogeneous compression that helps relieve the area.

Freedom of movement and 3D structure: Its three-dimensional weave houses bullet-shaped cold receptacles distributed anatomically. The garment molds to your anatomy and stays in place; you put it on, maintain the functionality of your hand, and move freely around the house, make a coffee, or go about your business. In short: you buy time.

Usage tips

  • Prior freezing: Store the garment inside its protective bag in the freezer for at least 3 hours before use.
  • Application time: Keep the wristband/mitten on for between 15 and 25 minutes. This is the optimal interval during which MINGYO retains its cooling capacity and cryotherapy fulfills its therapeutic function.
  • Reusable and ready for the next time: Once the session is over, put it back in the freezer next to the peas. It will be ready for whenever you need it again.

Composition and care

Garment fabric: 70% Polypropylene, 30% Elastomer.

We use polypropylene because it is the technical fiber with the lowest thermal conductivity and maximum insulating capacity, creating the perfect barrier to control cold transfer without irritating the skin. The combination with elastomer provides the exact compression and perimeter fit for the anatomy of the arm and hand.

Cold units (ice cubes): Ergonomic capsules made of resistant plastic filled with purified water.

No strange gels or foreign chemical compounds. It is water contained in bullet-shaped capsules. If a capsule were to break due to extreme use or carelessness, only a few drops of clean water would come out, which the fabric itself will absorb without further consequence.
