How to care for your Hoko garments so they last much longer
Hoko garments, by definition, are very durable, but like everyone else, they like to be cared for.
It's important to keep in mind that our fabrics are made with polypropylene yarn and colored microfiber. This prevents fading or pilling due to wear and tear. However, you should be careful with high temperatures, whether in the wash, in the dryer, or with the iron, as these can damage the garment by shrinking it or even unraveling the fabric.
For optimal washing, we recommend washing any hoko garment in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40º. No fabric softener is required. Hang it up and you'll see that it dries much faster than you imagine.

To quickly know which is the front of the mesh or the front part, you just have to look at where the logo is; it should always be on the front of the left leg.
It's important to fit the garment properly, especially around the groin area, to prevent pouches and chafing, especially with the SENSEI model.
They should be put on from the bottom and gradually raised up both legs, thus distributing the fabric so that it fits properly throughout. Fig. 1. If you pull up the tights like pants, you'll leave half of the tights on the middle of your legs, and it will feel like they're not your size. Fig. 2.
Remember that we work the fabric specifically to provide compression in each of our products. This doesn't mean the compression should be tight or uncomfortable. Instead, you should notice the tight mesh and your muscles supported. This will help you recover properly and prevent possible muscle injuries.

When we say our clothes have memory, we mean that after each wash, the fabric returns to its original position as long as it has been properly used and cared for.
That is why we recommend that you open the weft of the stitch with both arms every time you put it on to relax the fabric as shown in Fig. 1.
Once you've put on the sleeves, avoid excessive tugging at the armpits and cuffs if you want a snug fit and the garment to do its job of keeping your body warm. Fig. 2

Super thin, lightweight, and breathable fabric. I loved the internal briefs; they are very comfortable and don't chafe. The waistband is wide, and it fits keys, a phone, a water bottle, energy bars, and gels well.
They are comfortable and practical, but for me, at 1.58m tall, they are too long. If they were shorter like the OHARA, they would be ideal.
I have two similar pairs of shorts from a sports retail chain that are the same... but they aren't the same. The feel, the fit, the adjustment, the comfort. These are on another level. The inner briefs support what needs to be supported very well and are very cozy, and the shorts breathe and dry beautifully. The waistband, although wide, is soft and doesn't bother you if it's not heavily loaded. The only thing I'm worried about is how the fabric of the shorts will hold up against snags from branches, brambles, or dragging my backside over rocks or dirt. But there are other products for that.
Very lightweight, very comfortable, and above all, it adapts perfectly, creating a sensation not yet experienced with shorts from other brands. Congratulations!
I might have missed a zippered pocket for the key
A spectacular pair of running shorts; the feel against the skin is very soft and gives a feeling of incredible lightness. It breathes very well and dries quite quickly. Perhaps I notice the inner briefs a little too tight, but it doesn't quite reach the point of being uncomfortable.
They are super comfortable!!!!! They fit perfectly.
Very comfortable, lightweight, 360° band with a perfect fit without squeezing, space for the essentials.
I was doubting between this and another model because of the price, but I tried them on and found them very comfortable. They could be a bit shorter, but they don't bother me at all in the heat. I bought one size smaller than usual (normally an L, this time an M) because of the storage waistband. They don't squeeze much more. I carry my phone and house keys in them and they don't move at all. If I had to ask for something, they could make them in more colors, but for running, I find that secondary.
Comfortable, but I would have liked them in more colors
Very comfortable and lightweight shorts. The upper pockets are fantastic; everything fits. I recommend them.
I like them, they are very good for carrying things at the waist. The fabric of the shorts could be thinner. The one it has breathes so well that it seems thinner than it is. But I would like them with thinner fabric.

The polypropylene fabric is super soft and the inner briefs are very well designed; they don't chafe at all. However, I see a couple of details that could be improved for running. The waistband with pockets, although it seems high, tends to slide down in my case (for reference: I am 1.85m tall, weigh 80kg, am 50 years old, and have a bit of a belly). Also, the carrying capacity is very limited: if you put in anything more than a couple of gels or a small 150-200ml flask, the contents start to bounce too much. I think it needs some compression in that area or a firmer top elastic to hold the weight and prevent it from falling. In summary: excellent shorts for lightness and comfort if you run without weight, but tight if you need to carry gear.
The fabric, the fit, even the briefs are some of the best I've ever seen. Tremendously satisfied with the purchase... when will there be more colors? ;)
